Hello all, Warrior here for some quick news. Due to recent events, I will be soon moving out of my current residence. Not sure for how long exactly, but this is important for the comic because depending on where I stay, I may or may not have access to the internet and might be unable to keep up with the comic's schedule.

I've started up a Ko-Fi page, here is the link- ko-fi.com/E1E6CTC6

I would greatly appreciate any donations made, every little bit of support means a lot to me, and since I'm not very comfortable with taking commissions just yet (note me if you are interested though!), this is the only way I have of slightly improving my chances of affording to rent a better place. Believe me, I am excited to get this comic out to you all, and I don't want this to stop the flow I have.

Additionally, if you buy me 2 coffees ($6), I will sketch your OC for free! You can do this as many times as you want for a different sketch each time, or to upgrade your sketch to lineart/colours/shading/etc.

I'm sad to have to do this, but I messed up quite a bit with the comic. The pacing is wrong and when I started out I had no idea how to make comics. As a result, there's been no real consistency in the comic pages. I've started to rewrite the pages and specific scenes/dialog, so hopefully I can start soon.

Question

1 min read
For everyone who draws comics, what is the standard canvas size you use? I set my canvas to A4 last time, and the page came out a bit smaller than I wanted it to be, a bit of the stuff was cramped, so I tried A5, which- while bigger- isn't big enough for the page. In the end I sketched it in Paint and transferred it to my other program and that's what I'm currently working with but I really need to zoom in to work on finer details (like most of the last panel) and it's straining my eyes quite a bit. So if anyone could help, that would be great.

Warning

The next page is going to be horrible and incomplete.

I tried something new, and not only did it take a very long time, but it's also impossible to work with. So the characters are colored in, it's just the background that;s lacking in existence. But I've been working on this since last year (I had to make that joke) so I don't want it to go to waste.

I realize I haven't been able to stick to the schedule I kept for myself of one page once a week, Wednesdays to be specific, mostly because life is busy and I was having some problems with my computer, meaning I had to redo the latest page.

I enjoy working on this project, but I rely heavily on my computer and having plenty of time on my hands, the latter which I lack. So I'm considering changing this from a comic to a story.

My writing is alright, so in terms of quality it won't be a huge drop from art, and since both options are equal in my opinion, I'd like to leave this to those who, so far, have found my comic interesting.

COMIC- Less regular updates, not-that-great digital coloring, but less time-consuming to read and more interesting looking.

STORY- Easier to work on, but not as easy to visualize.
